In this thread, you can tell us instances where youve seen anime fans, simply take things too far. This can be in their appearence, conversational skills, or even hygiene (.................).

At Anime North, applying I think ONLY to the video gaming room, where DDR was a major item if I'm not mistaken, had a reportedly severe "fanboy funk". I was barely in this corner of the hotel for the entire con, but it leads one to believe that gamers should be targeted more than us anime freaks as those that are extreme develop poor hygene :P

They probably mistook this conventin for teh "hentai" convention. Them perverts will learn better then to look at your small ass miyur when they learn temjin is in teh crowd.

Don't worry, more girls are getting into anime...it's just, they haven't been active enough to compare to the guys.

Anime sucks...get over it.

Good lord...had a couple of run-ins with them...had a bunch iof Wing fangirls become quite indignant when I said that I thought Heero/Relena was more heavily implied than Heero/Duo (I think they may still have a price on my head)

I met with a anime "angel wings" fan. My god! I can still see the costume she wore to a cosplay convention. She had about a thousand wings on her...ofcourse, she didn't have much on either. It was all white feathers, wings, and skimpy feathers covering her family jewels.

It was a sight to behold...too bad, I didn't have a camera. The memories of youth...

When someone at a local anime club said "That Miyazaki Guy", the entire club wanted his head.

While I'll agree with you that there was some pretty fuckin nastiness coming from that room, you've gotta give it to the AN staff... they couldn't have picked a worse room. There was absolutely NO ventalation in there. (I acutally had to wander in on SUNDAY to find someone.. thought I was going to hurl.)
