Well, I was thinking of starting the arragment begining of may and
after I goto anime boston. A which point via REM Sleep's system have people
pick out songs for the mix and get it to around 12 mins. I gotta remeber
to make the final audio encode smaller . I kinda ticked
AD of last time. Plus I still have to make my other track for the
tool project once I own more of NOIR. But, people can start naming songs
they want in it and start the ball rolling. I liked the Idea because many
of the songs carry alot of power and the dark lyrics of certin songs
bring out alot of good imagery. So, I'm basically doing the oppsite
of REM Sleep in some respects. More Action/Drama and harder edge
but with lots of soul. Also, becuase overall I liked leading up these kinds
of projects where you get to meet alot of the community. As with REM
sleep the first few weeks will probally be planning/voting on songs and
then the next couple of weeks is refining the mix.

Glad to hear you might be helping us out.

I heard them first at my firends house about half a year back
and decided to go back to them and see what they where up
to. I love there songs they make me think "epic scale". I guess
that why I'm doing this to begin with.

Rubyeye's SHELLSHOCK was what got me into Nightwish in the first place.

I would have suggested Over The Hills were it not already on there, so I'm just posting to express interest.

EDIT: Crap, it's been so long since I've listened to Nightwish, two songs slipped my mind. I'd like to suggest Phantom of the Opera and Beauty of the Beast.

Ok we got suggestions but we need some cuts about half of the songs
if not at least a third will be dropped before the final mix. Remeber it's only
going to be like 15 mins not 30 - Hour. Basically, I think animix and VG are
too long. After a while any style of music wears on you even if it is good.

Nightwish isn't as bad as a lot of other things.

Anyway, since someone hasn't suggested it yet, I like Astral Romance. There's also a good chance of me being able to edit for this project, too.

Are you thinking of using the entire song or just brief clips from certain songs and mixing them all together?
