When they tried to resurrect their mother, Ed saw the gate
I think, he knew that Al's body is in the gate, but when ppl die, who knows where their soul goes...

I don't know about FMA, it's ok at best. The tried to do way too much and bit off more then they could chew, and I disliked how they reacha level of "over sentementality". The show just seemed really flawed to me. I know it's considered to be this great among greats, but I just don't get it.

Ah, well, ev'ryone has their opinion. You are no less of a man!!

I hate Gravitation yet everyone loves it. WHY?

Regardless!! Even if he DID see the gate 'n at, how is he going to get the correct body? Yes, he has the components to make one. Or.... Maybe they could make a homoculus and put Al's body into it?

Wait, that wouldn't work 'cause Al wants to grow up and live and be merry and make love and do stuff. @_@ Curses...

You're thinking too hard about it. Actually the whole idea of the Gate and getting one's body (or mind or soul...) back from the otherside of it is explained at the end to series.

Gaaaah, I just watched the latest episode! O.O How the hell could they play that spiffy ass music at the end when poor Al and Ed are pretty much at the last of their ropes?!

Okay, I can get the body thing now. After all, a life for a life, makes perfect sense (Nyar, first time I heard Envy. I'm reminded of Shenzi from Lion King, I don't know why!!). Even though, I wanna know who the hell is gonna be the therapist for those two kids. @_@

I mean, the mental stress they must go through, damn.... 'Specially Ed. Did you HEAR him? Gah, I love his voice actor, does a marvelous job. *cough* Gah, gomen for ranting, but, just... My MIND. It's, like, gone. I love this Anime... *weeps for joy*

I know, right? Let's play lovely classic music while these too suffer! Yay! Although it did kinda fit, didn't it?

*Laughs* Envy = Shenzi from the Lion King? That's different. I never would have thought that... Although Envy's english VA sounds a bit like her. And no amount of therapy can held these two, methinks. Then again, then faired pretty well considering, yes?

Nyar, yes!! Though I've heard that Envy is actually neither female or male, but in the Japanese version they used a male voice. Personally, I think it's cool that they were more on the feminine side. 'Cause you don't really get that much, y'know?

Anyway, wow. I can't believe that you, like, broke down all of my comments. @_@ And wait, the voice of Ed is a chick? Huh, never knew that... Whoot, amazement!

I can see why it's fitting like you said. Ev'ryone's all 'Yay! Let's ignore the fact that they went somewhere they shouldn't have and celebrate in getting them to safety!' Bah, I can't wait 'til next ep. @_@

Vic Mignogna is the voice actor for Ed in the U.S. version of Fullmetal Alchemist. Paku Romi is the Japanese VA for Ed in the series.

Full Metal Alchemist has many sad scenes. I'd have to say the one which made me very, very sad was the part where one of the alchemists dies. Not gonna say his name but I think you know who I'm referring to. Such a nice character, such a nice guy and he just gets killed. Probably one of the saddest deaths in an anime.

Okay, good. I thought Ed was a guy...

BUT NOO! *shushes person who is talking about deaths* I seriously NOT wanna ruin a series for me for once!! I must be kept in the dark, ehehehehheeh, yes yeeeeeeees......

Ach ja, that reminds me. Wasn't it sad that the dude in the helmet of that thingy died? I was all "Lust, you bitch!!"

i was only alittle but it would of been worst if Ed had to do it. but for now im focused on what Ed has to tell Al which could be related to the engraving in his watch.

Neee, this is where I feel kinda left out. I've seen eps 1-4 (english) Ep 15 (Japanese) and then the last two. @_@ So pretty much most everything in between I missed out on, huzzah!

So what Ed has to tell Al deals with his watch? Well, doesn't it say 'Dont' forget', then the date that they left home? OHM. I say it's him not able to get Al a body without killing someone first....

My favorite episode...

Postby *Hige* » Wed Apr 13, 2005 5:03 pm

My favorite episode is the one where Ed is in the basement of that labratory with the red water and his job is to make a philosophers stone. But what he doesn't know is that there are convicts upstairs and then they blow up the room and scar intervents and stuff ^.^
