Super Search CSS Special Effect

Post by Phade » Thu Mar 17, 2005 1:54 am

Hey All,

I'm testing out to see if a new CSS special effect is useful for the Super Search. Anyone using a non-IE browser will see the effect. (IE still does not render CSS correctly enough.) Please post feed back here.

Thanks again and have fun!! ^_^

I'm looking at it on Firefox and I'm not really anything special. What should I be looking for?

To add to this demonstration of IE's faults: If you're using IE, that image won't render correctly.

I have to say I don't really like this new behaviour of the page. :|

I don't really like it either. Not seeing the "order by" and "recent" things won't make me think about using them.

Ummm, I see what'd make a great April Fools Day joke, but alas it's only the 17th.

Mouseover drop-down box? I gotta say... it really sucks...

Better would be a small arrow that you can click on to drop those options down.

Or do drop-down menus for the radio button sets.
I have to agree, I don't like the mouseover thing either.

Hey All,

My thoughts here were that the Super Search input form is becoming really really big, especially for donators with all of the cool extra options. But with the big form, you have to do lots more scrolling to see the results. Also (and this may be just me, but) I tend to set the "wide" option and then not reset them when looking for a video. Since this is just a style sheet effect, no javascript or any other scripting is needed or used to create the effect.

I will take further comments and see if anyone else actually likes it.
