The 2005 Logo Winner

Postby Phade » Thu Mar 10, 2005 12:29 am

Hey All,

The new logo has been decided. You, the site members, have voted and your voice has been heard. You have chosen this to be the 2005 logo:

However, the logo is going to have a slight adjustment made to it (so don’t go making any new banners yet). I have contacted Amikit to have the word "” larger so that it can more easily be read on banner ads. As soon as that updated logo is available, I will post it and new banners can be created with it.

Congratulations again to Amikit for designing this year’s winning logo!

That one would have been my second choice.

Aw, man. I was hoping the one where the whole thing was the words "anime music" would win, simply because it was by far the easiest to read. That means it also would be easy to resize & photo-manipulate when making banners.

No offense intended to the winner, congrats to you.

Not bad. I think I voted for this one too. It's simple and easily recognizable. The others I nominated used the text "Anime Music Videos" twice, which I thought was kind of redundent since it's also spelled out in the web address.

Now, does this make it the second or third year we've had a logo? There should probably be a page (or library) of previous designs 'cause I'm kind of curious to see the progression of our choices over the years.

Darn it, I didn't like the one with the oval in the BG. :x

Oh well, congrats. :P

Phade, just to let you know that I've e-mailed you the fixed logo. Let me know by e-mail if you got it. :)

To tell you the truth, I was surprised that this one won. I though my other logo (the one without the black logo) or the film strip one have a better chance in winning.

It's cool :)

I think it'll take me a while to get used to, since I don't recall a change in logos during the time that I was here, but I'm totally down with it (so long as I can read that smaller text).

I was going to vote for that, but changed to this new one.

I agree, but your not the founder of the org. logo. If they want to take it off the counter and put it on the shelf to replace it with a new one, I'm cool with that.

I like this one a lot.

If the text on the bottom was taken out, I'd like it a bunch more! I think a lot of banners would look cool with this one!

lol, that's the one I posted on the other thread! :P It won, WOOT!!!

I voted for that one to, mostly because it had an interesting design and wasnt to complex like the filstrip one.
If it's true "you are what you eat", I could be you tomorrow
