I finished watching the series, which at times i really liked. i liked the ending enough but really didn't understand it. who was ran, she was the voice of the city? and what was the voice of the city? who were the ghosts above ground. is the human race now extinct? who was yoshi? a ghost gonr down to the city? what was the meaning of the cyborgs being planted in the ground?

so many questions!!! can someone help me sort it out?
