Full Metal Alchemist

I watched a very sad episode, it was where this guy turned his own daughter and his dog, into a terrible beast and i thought that the sad part was when she (the beast) said "u promised u were gonna play with me".

You should. It's a very good series.

If I remember correctly, you're referring to episode 6 or 7 (possibly a bit earlier), where Shou Tucker turns his daughter Nina and her dog into a chimera.

FMA is consitently pretty strong that way. The show always takes you to a point where you're thinking: "this can't get worse" and it always does, yet it still manages to remain fun and entertaining.

That was one of the most messed up things I've seen in anime in a long time.. I'd say it ties with the Ayato/Asahina stuff in Rahxephon.

That was so depressing! I thought it was really sad when she asked something like, "Big brother, why does it hurt so much?" I know I don't have it right, but it was so sad! I also thought it was so sad how the only thing the previous chimera said was, "I want to die." Plus the girl chimera's voice was just creepy.

I agree it was a sad moment in the series, but without that part I don't think the series would have been the same!

It was definnitely a defining moment. Poor Ed looses a little more innocence.

thats not NEARLY the most depressing thing in FMA.... ALOT, more ppl are gonna die, bad things are gonna happen (duh) read what i am gonna rightin in white for a list of "bad things"

Maes Hughes dies, Mustang rebels agaisnt the president and losers a eyes, the president is a homunculus, Sloth the homunculus is the sin created by ed and al transmuting their mother, Ed and Al meet their father only to have him leave, Scar dies,

i won't SPOIL the ending however..... you will have to see that foryourself, however i almost cried just to tell you

Oh yea, tell me about it... :x

It is a very cerebral series, especially as you get towards the end...I highly recommend it, though Eva and Bebop still pwn all ^_^
On the seventh day, God rested...and watched anime. And it was good.

Ya. He turned them into Chimeras. I dont normally get to see the show, but I know that because I got the game. I highly suggest you rent it if you dont get to see the show very often. It goes directly throught the plot of the show and has clips from the show. I loved it.

You could also buy the DVDs.... Disc two comes out in April. That part of the plot ends on episode 6... I think.
