I noticed because of eating nothing but subway and running up and down the stairs, I lost some weight coming back from AWA.

AWA = Great weight loss plan! :)

The Wired Knight wrote:That is my ONLY complaint with AWA's location, those elevators are murder, especially on sunday with everybody trying to use them to go down by going up first. Closing off the escelators between the first and second floors didn't exactly make things any easier either.

I don't know about you guys, but I know the group of friends I usually stay with will be staying at the other hotel. Not because the Waverly is sold out, but it's just a lot better. The rooms are a lot bigger and you don't deal with the con crowd just to get to your room.

Sure you have to take a little walk, but it's not so bad once you see how nice the rooms are.

I for one look forward to our "AMV Board Room Meetings" again eh MeriC/Vegettoex/Corran/Knives/Atomx/Ashy? ;)

The large amount of subway and walking balances it out. :P

Hotel Board Room = Best Hotel Room at a Con EVER. Yeah, I'd be up for staying at that hotel again. I don't mind walking to the con. center if you don't.

I still remember the HORRORS of waiting for the Sheriton's elevator on Sunday.

Oh and Castor, even though I was sick I still went. The only thing it stopped me from doing was talking the first two days since my throat hurt so much.

Ma'am we must once again talk about rooms for yet another con then ;). I say we even request that particular room and the ones next to it. Only thing I request is I get the seat at the head with no Rozard stealing my chair every time I get up

Am I the only one who didn't wait for those elivators?
Everytime I arrived they opened. When I left, they closed.

Then again, I had so much pepsi it seemed like an hour was 3 minutes.

Definitely coming again this year. As usual, I'm arriving on Thursday for the dinner (and the BRIDGE OF DEATH~!) and staying the entire weekend until (probably) Monday morning.

just to note, We (awa) didn't actually have a hand or even a vote in the closing off of those escalators.

Thats a hotel function.

And yes, they are going to do the same thing for brunch this year, so plan accordingly.
