Logo Contest Nominations Begin

Hey All,

The nomination process for the <a href="/members/logo/">2005 AnimeMusidVideos.org Logo Contest</a> has started. There are many impressive entries this year. You may <a href="/members/logo/logo_nominate.php">nominate</a> up to 5 entries into the final round. Nominations end February 25. Good luck to all those entered!

Best of the bunch and the most creative as well, IMHO of course. A lot of the entries suffer from either lack of originality or they just aren't fun to look at.

(Phade, my apologies if you didn't intend for us to discuss the finalists in public, just wanted to chip in my 2 yen) [Phade: Yeah, pimping logos is not what I had in mind]

I think I have a hunch of who made that egg logo.

Hey,

It's not that the logos aren't original from each other. There are 36 logos in the nomination round created by 15 different members. 8 members have only one logo in the nomination round leaving the remaining 28 entries split by 7 members. Several of these members then took the same concept and rearranged the parts. This is why several logos look very similar to each other, not because of a lack of originality.

It's Feb 27th and still no word on the logo design finalists. Is there some sort of delay or something? It would be nice if someone would update what's going on.
