For free software, WMM2 is what I recommend.
Mid-level Software I recommend:
Premiere Elements
High-level software I recommend:
Adobe Premiere
Vegas
Media Studio Pro
Pinnacle
There are more useful info on the programs on the Software List link I gave you earlier, if you want to know more.
Also, browse/search through the Video Software Forum Section, and you'll be sure to find tons of threads of people asking for 'Software Recommendations'.

Wow, that crazy!, I didn't know you can make your own amvs here. Well, I'm probably not going to do 1. I don't have time. Won't the making of amv break some copyright laws???

But no, you don't make AMV's here. This is where you publish them. You (yes, even YOU!) can make them on a personal (or perhaps an institutional/industrial, but less likely) computer, and them post them here to your heart's content.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

First, you have to make database entries for your videos:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... _step0.php
Then you can either upload your videos here (assuming they don't break the rules):
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/upload/
or put them on your own webspace somewhere else and link to them from your video info (step 4 of the entry process).
