COMPETING IS USELESS
well, im going for rookie of the year this year, because well my videos are pretty good for a noob i think
but i realized something while looking at other rookie's profiles
they are much more well known than me
i could be 10 times better a creator that Koop and still not win, im not known! competing against these people is useless!

Re: COMPETING IS USELESS
Did Koop even do anything noteworthy this year? Apart from Rei-Mix and Euphoria, I haven't heard much in the way of people raving about his stuff.MomochiZabuza wrote: i could be 10 times better a creator that Koop and still not win, im not known! competing against these people is useless!

Usually you become well-known when people start to really like your videos. Almost everyone's videos get downloaded by at least a few people, and if those people really liked your video, they usually leave opinions, especially if the video doesn't have many. Once a video gets three or more opinions and has good scores, more people see those scores and download the video, and then if it's popular enough, it'll eventually get on the top 10 %, leading to you becoming a more well-known AMV maker.
A good way to get people to see your latest vids is to announce them in the forum. If it gets lots of good replies, more people download it, and you get more well-known. If you don't get many good replies... well, it's usually because people think you need to improve.
I'll put it this way... usually if a creator's well-known, it's for a good reason.
