sorry for the double post but going back and re-reading the rules, you want two files, i understand the jpeg one but the source, you mean the layered .psd file?(since i am using photoshop) or do you have another preferred format or...what?

I hope this helps.

Ya, what is Vector Art? Is it downloadable? I use Photoshop 7.0 CS, Is vector Art better than that?

Vector art is not a program, it's a way of drawing digital graphics that uses vector cordinates and curves instead of bitmapping. What that does is allow you to scale the image to any size while keeping line definition and quality (as opposed to bitmapping which would become very jagged and distorted).
Flash, Illustrator, and FreeHand are examples of programs that use vector art ,while Photoshop uses bitmapping.

Hi, iam not the best at English so i dont know what logo we must create (http://www.animemusicvideos.org/_media/AMVLogo.png <- this, i mean a newer better version of that?)

- is 3D allowed or not?
- Highres., so we make the Logo with an Resolution of 2048x2048(because
you can print it on T-Shirts at ~ 20/30cm)
- Backgroundcolor = white?
Follow the way of the Samurai, Bushido...

Correct, a newer better version of that (something origional).

-As Phade said: "Using 3D modeling software to create logos is greatly discouraged. Resulting logos are generally difficult to use for many practicle purposes."

-highres is good, as long as it's practical (ie: no 10MB files)

-There really arn't any rules about the background color. Make ur own judgment call. (be creative)

Hey Takashi-SG,

You can make the background transparent with an anti-aliased transparency edge just like the logo you pointed out in your example. That would solve any logo background issues.
