Geez man, you might have just as well have read my mind. lol Those are definitely some of the top knotch music videos. Not saying that you other DBZ vid creators aren't good, but these creators made stuff that smacked you in the face and said, "hey, I'm a great music video!". In a way.
To just describe them a litle, Scott's had amazing editing and timing, NeoGohan's fell together and fit perfectly and MeriC's were very original.

Yeah, there are a glut of dbz vids, but a couple months back, i had a conversation with a really nice lady about a similar topic and tend to be practical about this sort of thing. DBZ is the most popular and extensive anime on U.S. TV right now (though Hamtaro has seriously closed the gap, but not totally).

In any case, I view these as just an extention of modern anime fandom coupled with the fact a lot more young anime fans have access to computers w/ editing gear in their homes now. If such were the case when I got into anime seriously, my first AMV would probably one of thousands of Robotech footage done to "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins.

I've seen a few good DBZ vids though. For Example:
Fight Club "This is Your Life"
Meow Mix
Dueling Banjos
Dragon Bebop Z (Though this is because I seemed to be the only one who knew where the song came from when it was shown at Anime Central. ^_^)

Every year has a new show that's gets seriously overused. Eva's had its time, and now Trigun seems to be the main vehicle (or maybe Kenshin. hmm...). I say we encourage the fans, let 'em create, have fun and explore what anime and editing have to offer. ^_^

Just don't let them whine about not getting undeserved praise or reviews.

Meredith "Meri" Cantoni:

Most are downloadable.

Justin "NeoGohan" Stenberg:

Looks like there's some indirect links up there.

Both Meri and NeoGohan have tons of video floating around on P2P programs, as well. Look for their names on there, if you're up to it and/or web links don't work (I know for a fact all of Meri's do).

No one mentioned my videos :(

Yah, I've got the whole ass kicking thing going on in 2 of my videos, but I dont consider them "shit editing" either. Both have stories or consistancies in them. As for my other 2, One is Lord of The Ballz (which WAS up for best trailer 2001..) and D&M of Goku, which has a very dramatic feeling to it.

What most people dont realise is that there IS more to DBZ than just random stupid fighting... and when you can tap into that, there's a LOT you can do with DBZ amvs.

*re uploading LoTB now.*

If you're refering to me, my profile link is in my signature. Unfortunately, due to bandwith restrictions, I've only got my Eva video up and Lord of the Ballz. If you want some other good DBZ videos, there's about 3 on my "Required Viewing" page that stand out as GOOD videos overall.

Of course vids that use parts of the series very commonly overlooked are alright in my book

Like Rozard's You give me something was the first vid i ever saw using the lil storyline inbetween the Ceel saga and Buu saga
