Heh, I think I've just learned why editing to your favorite song could be a bad thing...twice! But yeah, I didn't bring much home over the winter so I've been rackin my brain trying to remember what I have and could possibly use and given the background I have on the song I think I'm leaning towards FLCL. Though if anyone has any other suggestions for a different anime I'd definitely be interested in hearing it. Until then I'll probably stick with that.

Meh, the best part had been cut from the mix. I'll see what I can come up with anyway.

Personally, I think FLCL would work well with that song. 8-)

I've started; this is intensely nerve-wracking, given that I'm the last segment and have to live up to everything that's come before and more. (Pen-pen, got any ideas for "The Great Beyond"? Keep 'em handy. >_<)

But, uh, it's in progress and I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. Not ready for a beta yet, but it'll come.

Alright an update from me, I've fixed the bleep that was in orange crush, but it did affect all the tracks afterwards.... they all sound the same, but they are also all moved about 3 or 4 frames. As I said, the tracks all remain the same, they've just moved a few frames from there original position. I think editing with what you have right now should not be a problem, and I will upload the new track as soon as I get DSL (which was supposed to be today, lets hope for tomorrow shall we). When the revised version is uploaded, I will post. If any of you have any questions or complaints etc. just email me or pm me or even AIM me, and we can settle the dispute etc. there (as long as they are justifiable complaints). Thanks, and sorry, this should be the last revision.

I doubt it'll make a huge difference. I'm guessing that most people trimmed down the audio to just their portion while editing, so a general timeline shift shouldn't affect things.

I'm looking forward to seeing whether my video still syncs up after I get the new audio in :P
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

Hoping the new audio dosn't mess-up anyones tracks :(
I Believe in mircles, if not welll... maybe we can add the audio
in later from your cut and blend it in somehow. Cuase that sucks
to have to resync everything.

I don't think it would be too hard to re-synch to the new audio. Max error should be 1/30 seconds.

Hay Janski I just looked at you list of AMVs.

The one video of mine you have is Death of an AMV artist :)
I wonder why people always remeber that one, it's so chessy.

Note:
Maybe I should redo that video someday with, now better editing
and a less horrible picture. The idea was right but the excution needed
work

I consider it a classic! :D

Ok, maybe it's not perfect, but the idea is one of the most original I've seen. And it inspired me to a make a video to one of the songs.

Oh, as a side note: you might wanna talk to the track above and below
you. To figure out if you want to have any type of specisfic transition into
your tracks. That way I can know before the blending process :)

Also, I would like to thank lucaspl81 for becoming a back_up
editor, two safetys are better then one :)

Crzy_Tetsuo is before me, so PM me when you have your ending decided, yo. The overlappy bit of mine can be changed any time - what I have in there now is just a placeholder, really. And OFL, the credits are after me. How should I end? Right now it fades to black; should I do something else?

Considering how this soooo doesn't fit into the whole scheme, I wanted to have an early beta just so you could tell me to change my direction if it's not right for the project. Which is fine by me; if it isn't right, I'll just make a full-length AMV out of it instead. So no worries about offending me, okay? I could use a different anime if I need to; for some reason I'm thinking this song would work decently with some Ghibli stuff, too.

That said, this is about half-finished, but you can see the general direction I'm taking right now.

Again, if it's crap or just not right for this, tell me tell me. I can try to change direction, or hand over the reins to a backup.

And this is only 10MB, and a REALLY REALLY rough beta with not too great video quality, so please take that into account. The final will have better video quality. And I mean to change some things, still. And so on. Anyway, I want to make sure it's going in the right direction and not going to mess up the end of the project before I go on.

Thanks.
