Yup, the website says that Borders has it in stock so I'm going to go pick up a copy (Unless the website is a filthy liar, in which case I'll order it online.)

Kalium, I read your guide. Good job on the basic definitions, feels like it could use some fleshing out though. And for the compositing example you should definatly check this out: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=50183

I finally finished my Soc project so I will be attemting the Journey section and I'l see what I can get done in the next 20 days I have off.

If any of you have a video that you want a really detailed oppinon on a video (I'm trying to get my average above 1000 because I'm only 20 away and I like round numbers :D) I'm going to be uploading requiem today or tomorrow so I'll be getting back in the op trading buisness. I should give more ops but I hate doing them half-assed so they always take me forever and I never end up doing any execpt when I have a new vid.

Songbird and Toji: Sounds good, glad that worked out well.

Pen Pen- Would you mind if I tried Naruto and Mai Hime? I really think I can make it work. Maybe I could try it and if you don't like it I can change it?

Thanks. I may go back and try to flesh things out more, although that would require me putting a lot more thought into it.

Anyway, I think I've finished the minisegment: here!

I finished a beta of the first 41 seconds. its kinda rough, but I wana get a beta of teh whole vid done before I start refining it (and with what I've done now, I may need to spend more than a little time fixing it up).

Does anyone have some webspace where I could upload it to via ftp? Yahoo briefcase is being a pain and not uploading the file.

oh I'm probably going to try putting sketches of concept credits and font choices online for you either tonight or tomorrow (god willing) so you can look at them and probably get an opinion from everyone.

Heh, and I still can't get myself to rework my segment. The problems of additional scene choices are what's worrying me primarily; otherwise, I'm also just being pushed back by various things. Like learning to filter images and compress manga in .png, and um, more King Crimson DVD's

Don't worry, I'm not dead though

Anyway I'd love as much dietailed criticism as one could possibly give, because right now Im thinking it sux. Alot.

Try posting that link again. I think there's a typo.
Alo: Wendy (Songbird21) has graciously offered her considerable bandwidth to host betas. If you can get it to her via AIM or whatever, she could distribute it and you wouldn't have to worry about size so much.

On a side note I'm actually going to begin work on my segment today and I'm expecting a phone call that should be a record store owner telling me my CD is in.

Sorry this thread has been a little slow, I've been focusing on getting my Requiem video out. Hopefully in the next few days I'll have a beta of my own.

Pen pen, do you have any comments on the opening sequence sketch I sent. I know it needs tons of work, but I just want to know what you think of that skeleton of an idea.

Ok I just realised this, the url (specificaly the random characters after the filename) change every time someone dl's it. Iether that or it changes after a set preiod of time. sneaky barstards. Anyway, I'l PM songbrd and give her the current link.

Oh and I've almost finished ripping the rest of the series (the current beta uses all but one scene from the first epp), so I should continue editing by tomorow or the day after.

For some reason I can't render it. What codec did you use?
