As for the beta folder redirection - I've asked the code monkeys. They say "yeah it's possible... I don't know how, but I'm sure it can be done" which means "uh I have better things to do".
Why not just symlink /guides/avtech/ to /guides/avtech/ :P
Argh, forgot about the autoreplace. That was supposed to be

/guides/avtech beta/ symbolic link to /guides/avtech/

Hmm the Tdeint issue is odd. It seems the newer version I included in the last beta does not support being used as a post-processor for decomb.. but it used to, I swear :)

I'll investigate as soon as I can read doom9 forums.

OK Tdeint was a version mismatch - I will patch that later and do a silent update

The autoreplace is working for the text, but unfortunately the links themselves are unchanged... :(

Can you give me an example... that really shouldn't be the case - we use the autoreplace to avoid links to certain websites all the time.

OK the amvapp should contain the correct Tdeint now. There is also a p4 patch to masktools for anyone having trouble with vdubmod on a p4.

The guide has also been changed to reflect all the points raised in this thread including downloadable rar archives of the new guide.

Here's an example:

The text of link I gave was changed to "avtech", but clicking on it still takes one to the old location.

Not all the links in the index seem to be working. For example, the section titled 'Analysing The DVD Footage' works but the subcatagories under it like 'Is It Interlaced?' and so on do not. The links there point to "file:///C:/TheOrg/HEAD/www/guides/..." instead of "http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/..."

If you want to edit the video at 24fps then you will need to read this page on how.
There is no link to the page being refered to.

Actually I just noticed the link is a little higher up on the page. I was expecting a link to go with that sentence though. >_>
