Pen-pen: will your "conclusion" section include credits? Or is it a "project wrap-up" kind of section? If it's the latter, then I can give up 15:48 - 16:25 of my section for somebody to make the credits. (Any takers? xP)

I've ripped all the Kaleido DVDs that I currently have, and now waiting for the rest to arrive in the mail. Once they come, I'll watch them right away and get to editing. It might even turn out that I didn't have to rip the first three DVDs anyway.

Right now I'm focusing on my track for the Third Impact Project. I decided to take the plunge into frame-by-frame editing, and the process is beginning to drive me crazy. :p

It would definitely be a shame to cut any of the audio. I'll gladly take any of the spots that don't get filled.

Kalium: beta looks cool. Yay for Lodoss! :D I have plans for a Parn/Deedlit or Ashram/Pirotess romance AMV (been wanting to try romance again), but I have yet to find the right song.

Good luck on the second part, Ashram's too blind to notice. Just watch out for the blended fields, they are hideous.

No, I wasn't planning on having any credits in the conclusion section. I can see them working in the 15:48-16:25 section but they might be a bit cramped.

DrangedKreations: You expressed an interest in the credits, what do you think about that section given our number of editors (take the track assignments and add 1 or 2)?

I can see why you might want to end your section at 15:48 to avoid any anticlimatic sections. It would work nicely with that high dying guitar note that streches untill 15:53, could be a really cool transition.

I'm up to sixteen seconds of beta. Almost time to kill Ashram. Also not that I've made an effort to have a minimal attempt at a story (at least in the combat), so it's not just completely random action.

Story runs as follows:
--Ashram and Parn trade a few blows at one spot
--Ashram runs so that he can choose the battleground
--Parn kills Ashram

15:48 - 16:25 is more like it. It's a repeat theme of the very first fast section, and it finishes before the little "bridge/thematic break" reprise at the end.

He's so mad he can't type straight!
I'm not laughing at your misery I'm just... well... let me get back to you on that one. Hope your data recovery goes well.

To be honest I'm worried about my own comp, it's a one HDD machine for the whole family so it would suck if somthing happened. I'm pushing it to the limit with crazy speed editing trying to finish my Soc project by tomorrow afternoon. Been making funny fan noises and had one catasprophic failiure.

Anyways I'll be done with the project by the 2nd, one way or another.

Ok, project files are safe. Sadly I lost the audio and video source. Anime I've got on dvd so thats no problem. But the audio I need. Sadly my net conection seems to be geting worse by the day (you know what a bakers dozen is? It conected slower than that) and it'l be impossible for me to dl the song again, so could someone please cut the section between 12:50-14:33 (actualy, do a second or 3 over, just so I can fix up any margin of error) into a 96k mp3 and host it somewhere for a day or two.

bum: here you go.

Beware that the quality is pretty disgusting. You can even SEE the difference in WMP's visualizations. Yick.

My last Kaleidostar DVD still hasn't arrived. Disc 5 ended on a cliffhanger and I'm just DYING to find out what happens next. :?

Hmm... I like how ADV's authoring company packages every episode into one VTS on the DVD. It saves me the trouble of separating them myself.

If it's okay with Pen Pen. I would like my part of the thematic break to be 9:12 to 10:08 I know the begining cuts a bit into the first half of it, but I feel it will give me more control over how my section comes into it.
