Well, it's on the same weekend as Anime Evolution!

Looks like I will not be going to Otakon next year... :(

why you saying ouch cause they have to put a cap on it. Honestly id rather that becase if they dont the bbc or police or whatever could put a cap on it last min (like stated in their anoucement of Otakon 2005). I mean what would you rather have happen them put a limit on size and go anyway or would you lrather you get there and get turned away cause there are to many people.

id rather them say no more than 22000. Granted i wish i could pre-reg...i want to give them my damn money.

Oh gosh.
Does this mean that they'll probably be sold out before the actual con rolls around?

I suppose I'll have to let my father know about this... 'cause he's the one who always takes us.

It seemed pretty crowded there, and we had, what, almost 20K? I think a cap is great.

the cap more or less means you have to register early if you plan on going... otherwise, you might not have the chance.

I'll just pre-reg like I did last year. I'll keep an eye on the page to see when the dates are. Let's hope this isn't when Shoujocon is!

Yeah I think most people who paid by mail had a problem with it being processed. I think someone simply forgot to process certain batches into the computer. Not fun.

Actually I think there were times where the problem line wait was nearly as long as it was just to go through the regular line (whcih these people had to go through anyways just to register)

Man this sucks Anime Evolution and Otakon on the same weekend. This is going to mess up somethings this year. At least if anyone submits videos to both cons they can't be disqualifed for being a troll since they are shown on the same weekend.
