The Official AMV Request Thread

Postby bum » Tue Nov 16, 2004 2:18 pm

Seeing as thiers a allways few requests for amv's which arent available to download, I was thinking it would be good of thier was an official thread for this. People could post what amv they're looking for, and someone could Im them the vid. Their could be a list that some mod or admin could keep updating in the first post, and peoples requests just get taken off the list when they've got there vid. Oh and, any chance we could get some of these videos uploaded to the org ? Like evangelion opus (and shonendizzycow's other amv's. Why we're they never uploaded here anyway? ), and some of KC's work which isnt on the donut.

Well, here's an odd request (tech. not anime, but done by one of the regulars here all the same), but what the Hell?

StudioHybrid's 'Safety Friends' video (video: Happy Tree Friends, Song: The Safety Dance)

:? What if the creator doesn't want them to be distributed?

What's so hard about emailing them? Seriously.

I've found that, about half the time I try e-mailing the creator of a video I want but can't find, their e-mail address doesn't work.

Not to say that it shouldn't be tried, of course.

Since this is the official thread, if anyone needs a vid on my hard drive (refer to sig), feel free to hit me up on AIM. I'm always more than willing to send it to someone. :D

Then TOUGH! :D

Those of us with free email accounts have 2meg limits, and I don't know how they respond to 26meg attachments. But personally, I'll find a way around that

Ok, I'm looking for:

Tenchi In Tokyo/Whitesnake - Is This Love?
Final Fantasy 6, 7, 8, 9/Stratovarius - (dunno what song)

If anyone with these vids has MSN, ideal!

But before you make a video make sure your spelling is way beyond this.

Nonono, I meant emailing the creator to ask them if they can put the video back up. But Scintilla's reply addressed that. That's unfortunate. :?

y'know, this is making me want to figure out just how many AMVs I've downloaded over the years; they're spread over a box full of CD-Rs. Scary.

I don't think there's anything I'm looking for these days. Apart from that FY Nakago-centric video that dokidoki showed at the Otakon creation panel, which isn't up. :( but that's another story.
