AMV Iron Chef League: Interest?

Postby dokool » Thu Sep 30, 2004 3:08 am

AtomX is putting the Online Iron Chef 2.0 on-hold due to lack of interest and his commitment to Reflections of Style II, but I'm curious if anyone else would be interested in continuing to have these Iron Chef battles, in a vaguely more organized form that would keep track of wins and losses, award points which would mean practically nothing, and give people who like having Iron Chef battles a pool of like-minded editors to challenge/call for assistance.

I really haven't given the makeup/rules/etc much consideration, but I know I enjoy having Iron Chefs and it'd be cool if more of us got together and did it on a regular basis.

I like the idea, but I'm skeptical of anyone actually being willing to take the time to create, organize, and manage the whole thing. It may be a better idea just to stick with the tournament concept.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

For the love of spork, make the idiocy stop.

It's bad enough that the point is entirely missed.
