Perhaps a dumb question [new memory]

Postby billy_wires » Wed Sep 08, 2004 10:23 pm

If I were to buy new memory, would I have to buy it at the same frequency I have now? For instance, would PC 3200 ram work if I already have PC 3500?

it should. iv done it befor and iv never heard of it being a problem but some mobos might need it to be the same. but i dont think it should be a problem. heh only problem that would occer is that the 3500 would be slowed down a bit by the 3200, but it should still all work fine.
