Grats to Machine for sweeping the awards at FEST this year.

And, based on a rather informal survey of the viewing rooms, for pretty much doubling vid room attendance whenever Naruto's United States of Whatever was on.

I was glad to finally see the Naruto one, I had missed the AMV showings at A-kon. :)

If anyone could give links to the runner-ups, I would really appreciate it. I thought all of the videos were absolutely outstanding, and was very proud to be among one of the winners.

having just moved to texas, I was curious what the amv scene out here was like, but I couldn't make it to the con this year. I'll have to check those videos out.

on a side note, this year seems to be the year of the Kare Kano videos, cause I've seen Kare Kano videos win at 50% of the cons I've been to. lol

TX has like 5 cons now, so it has a decent AMV scene. :D

that's what I've been hoping, but remember I am coming from Florida which has 7 anime cons and at least two sci-fi cons that have amv contests as well. ^_^ I'll have to keep my eyes out for the next texas con I can enter.
