Postby BlindNoir » Sat Sep 04, 2004 11:41 pm

this might be a bit out of topic but would a PNY 256 SDRAM Pc-133 card be good. I have a 256 SD ram now that came with my sony and i want to get another 256 to boost it up to 512 (top expandability) and i want to know what brands are out there that an be easily and cost effectively bought through ebay? Is there anything wrong with PNY?

im also not quite sure what those things mean i know that ecc is a way for the ram to check errors or something and unbufferd/registerd is a way the ram is disigned but every system iv worked with so far(and thats quite alot) has taken non ecc unbufferd ram so im guessing yours should to.
