What version of Windows are you using? Windows XP has got some issues with it's Wireless Card Wizard thingy...

Also you may try re-running the configuration software that came with your card...

I don't have a wireless card though... so... uhh ;o not an expert...

I don't run XP but you might try uninstalling the update to see if that repairs the problem. Most "Hot Fixes" you are able to uninstall unless it's part of a Service Pak. I however do not recomend using the Recovery Console to do this. You will just end up making duplicates of .dll files and can cause more problems in the long run.

Hope this helps in some way. :|

Try cycling power on the wireless router or access point...or both...maybe the modem, too. "Cycling" means pull the power plug, wait a couple of seconds, then plug it back in. If someone else is on the network downloading something big, you might want to let them know ahead of time. :P

I have to do this with my wireless router about three or four times a week just to get on the Internet with my -11b laptop. Something screwy with...something. :? Two other people that I know tell me they have to reset the power on their wireless routers from time to time. So, I know it's not just me.

*** Auto-response sent to lee death: I am currently away from the computer.
lee death: well if he doesnt have linksys tell me wtf he has grrrr

Can you ping the loopback? If not, then you have a problem with your configuration. focus on the computer and it's connection to the card. Is your connections secure? Do you have the latest and greatest driver updates? Are all firewalls disabled?

After that, you should be able to at least ping the loopback.
Now try to ping the router. Add the Router's IP to your firewalls' secure list, and reinstate your firewalls. can you ping the router?

After that? Heck, any doofus knows what happens next.
