anime retailers

I just want to know if there are any great anime retailers on the net or near your home that sell REAL, non-pirated dvds. i am planning on buying Samurai X Reflection from overstock.com. They have it for $20.00 but the image they have is different from the cover art. I think it is an image from inside, but i dont know.

Hmmmm.... non-pirated, that's a toughy lol :P . But seriously, I think the best deal you'll find is at a place like overstock cus most stores around me, and even the the distributor companies themselves, are starting to sell the new volumes of series for almost $30, which is a total rip.

I know they're not the cheapest, but I buy all my anime from rightstuf.com

I've been buying anime from them since before I had internet access, so it's abit of a brand loyalty type thing now.

Try Dvd Empire, Deep Discount Dvd, or there's always Amazon.

Plus, Half.com is a good place to check out.

Suncoast, they're a bit expensive, but they have most every title in stock, AND will order any title they don't have without any additional cost.
I know I'm a n00b and I suck at AMVs, you don't have to tell me about it :P

For local stores in Alaska, there is this shop called Boscos, you can get stuff that's in japan (dubbed, japanese format, you name it) plus they order stuff with a small additional cost, but if you want what japan has that america doesn't with subtitles, like that ghost in the shell series, its all cool.

or you can rent anime, block buster always has anime where i'm at, i just burn and copy the stuff, and its all freakin free too lol

ebay, half.com, overstock.com, suncoast, best buy, walmart (small selection tho), gamestop (video game store, but has anime stuff also), i think ebgames.com also has anime stuff, but i get most of my stuff from this anime rental shop where i go to, so best of luck to you and your hunt for anime stuff

and if its an auction your going to, always set your bid so you don't bid to high or too much lol

and hentai is free all over the internet also at various sites lol if you are into that :? but happy hunting nonetheless

They are affiliated with Media play. And media play is the  devil  .
You might have to punch someone in the head to get an order through.

might try www.uln.com, also known as BestPrices.com, I think. I usually just wait for stuff to come on sale at Right Stuff. they have some pretty good specials, and their 40% off studio sales are truely evil. also, Best Buy has decent $20 price points for most stuff -- just not Geneon titles. But no shipping to pay, and there is the instant gratification factor.

I wonder if anyone will read this -- it's pretty old.
