Not a chance! I love Italian food, and I probably eat enough carbs for 2 people (without getting fat). I'm pretty sure I'm even more sick of fatkins than you... ;)

Take that D&B place for example (assuming I found the right menu). Other than some of the appetizers, I found 1 item (one of the salads) that didn't have meat in it, but they had a whole fatkins section on the menu... :x

If you guys wanna' go there though, we'll go. At least there are a couple of appetizers we can eat (which is more than I can say for some places), and we're going more for the people than the food. If you end up looking for one little thing to tip the balance between two places though... :)

They had a decent sized dining area with several really long tables. The problem I found was half of the play area was rides designed for people three feet and shorter and the arcade section was so squashed together two adults could not pass between two game machines. Add in a bunch of unleashed ankle biters and that is a big "No, thank you," as far as me being the responsible party goes. Some Chuck E. Cheese can function with adults but not this location.

Well at least us shorter creators would enjoy the opportunity of being taller than those three foot kiddos ;).

I still votez0r Chuck E. Cheese. If not, Paul's/Red Wolf's house :-P

I can still try to win over 800 tickets on 5 bucks of tokens. 8)

You are now going to be seated at the kid's table no matter where we go.

Fsck. I was planning on flying into Atlanta on Monday or Tuesday to help out with DDR, and then Thursday I would be able to make the AMV dinner for my first time ever :P
But, it's looking like I won't be able to fly in until Thursday night again because of work
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

I'd say sure but our plans at this point in time aren't exactly concrete due to school and all..that and the real possiblity of us driving a Freightliner down to save on hotel cost (yes..it has been discussed and if it saves us a few hundred dollars on a hotel, that's even better :P ...)
Closer to the date I could get with you though and see about it then if that's ok?

I'm up for italian again.... you could never get enough Pizza :P

I heard the dinner last year was around 8-9pm so will that give us enough time to pick up our badges (I'm preregged already)?

I'm sure every con now has gigantic preregged lines since 2003. :?

Me and Jbone will be there as well. I put trust in you since it was a good gathering last year.

I need to ask a new question but keep posting if you are planning on coming to dinner. These numbers are very preliminary but I want to get a sense of where I should put my focus. Which would you be willing to do given the details below? You can answer for a specific one, both, or none.

Pizza Party - $35 per head
This gets us a room that seats 100 people in round tables of 10 at the Cobb Galleria (the convention center connected to the con hotel), a pizza buffet, and possibly a LCD projector and sound system to plug a laptop into and play AMVs in the background.

Dave & Buster's - $40 per head
This gets us a private room with billiard and shuffleboard tables for two hours, a buffet dinner, access to the midway (cost of video games is additional and will be up to each individual) and bus transportation between the con hotel and D&B.

Ooh, pizza.

Given the likelyhood of me getting to AWA is about +/- 20% of 20% now, though, I'm not sure my opinion matters that much. But if I do make it, I'll be braving a 900-mile drive.
