I haven't seen Armada but I have seen Beat Wars and Robots in Disguise. Both of whitch suck. I grew up on the first Transformers back in the 80's. I miss that show.

Optimus Prime forever!!

Beast Wars was okay.. Beast Machines was excellent (The best since the orginal series)... Robots in diguise was beyond crappy. I don't get Toonami, so I really never heard of armada... but I wish Mainframe Ent. Can get to do another Transformers cartoon...

I personally loved Beast Wars season 1 and Beast Machines. Beast Wars season 2 got weak in the storyline, though. I blame the toy companies myself, because the later seasons seem geared on coming out with a new character or new incarnation of a current character every other episode so more toys could be made. The people lost focus. Beast Machines was excellent, although I wish I had been able to see the last half of the second season (I know what happened from an episode synopsis I found, but it's not the same...)

Went to best buy and as an impulse buy picked up the first season of the original transformers.. the one from the 80s. This is a kick ass buy for anyone who's a fan of the old school...

and who isn't? I love starscream, but I always wonder why megatron didn't just blow him up the FIRST time he threatened him.

To quote my hubby: "What, giant robots that transform and are after power aren't good enough anymore? They had to take a great show, and turn it into Pokemon!?"

I'm an 80's child myself, and I really wish they could have done a better job. And is it just me, or does Optimus Prime always look the same? They've redone Megatron a lot, but he remains the same. I'm not complaining... just an observation.
