Masterboy - "Everybody Needs Somebody"

One of the many many songs inside the Deep Dance 50 mix that Animix uses, I really like the smoothness of the female vocals and the overall catchiness of the song. Plus I'm on a bit of a Eurodance binge right now [I was actually listening to (insert most notorious Swedish pop act in history here, as well as their most notable tribute band) earlier].

Vengaboys - We Like to Party

"The wheels of steel are turning, and traffic lights are burning, So if you like to party, get on and move your body..."

I heard this song on a Six Flags commercial. Well, several, actually. It contains an old guy in a bus that dances. The commercial is FUNNY as all of Holy Hell, and the song is awesome.

It was the most amazing gig I've been too, certainly worth the 8+ hour wait, the shitty support band and the cramp in my leg that lasted for days after :¬ P

Also, they recorded the gig I went to and are bringing out a live album! :o

Anyway: Rage Against The Machine - "Killing In The Name".

Despite rumours that RATM are reforming to play at reading this year it seems they aren't. Damn.

God's Tower - "Twilight Sun"

You gotta love a song that starts with "Thirteen days of beers..."

It's a shame that the political and economic problems of Russia in the 1990s prevented God's Tower, Atoll Nerat, endZone, Stonehenge, and many other great bands from getting their music out to a worldwide audience...and a greater shame that many of these bands have broken up now that record labels are starting to sign more acts out of the former USSR.

Queen - "Bohemian Rhapsody"

One of my favourite songs ever, the lyrics are so deep/random and the guitaring is very catchy, and so very fun to play ^_^

Queen are one of my favourite bands, mooha!

I am listening to the rain.

That's it... no drum solos, no riffs, no reverb. Just the sound of the rain hitting the sidewalk outside of the building. Happens a lot during monsoon season.

Velvet Revolver - "Slither"

A catchy riff, a really "rocker" singer and one of the greatest guitarists (Slash) all amount up to this great song. Damn it's so catchy! :¬ P

TapRoot - Poem

TapRoot is my favorite band as I'm sure most of you know.

Penpals - Tell Me Why

Opening theme to the darkhorse of anime, Berserk.

Then most likely,

Saliva - "Click Click Boom"

I heard this song once and it didn't really impact me. Then a few months later, for no apparent reason, I kept singing it over and over again in my head. Now I just keep listening to it on repeat.

I'm listening to an interesting combination of songs containing:

Zero 7 - Somersault
RJD2 - Through the Walls
The Avalanches - Gimix (all 40 minutes of it)
The new Prodigy *cough*
L'Arc~en~Ciel's "Smile"

All recommended. Except the new Prodigy.
