I always had a hard time finding my favorite on the two occassions I lost it. I don't know the studio, in fact kow one I know does. IT was EVA done to the pet shop boys song It's a Sin, it was one of the first AMVs I saw and partialy what got me into making them in thefirst place.

My opinion for TommyRude's video summed my feelings up--the first itme I saw the live-action Linkin Park footage, I cried "cop-out"!

But as the video went on, things got more and more integrated, culminating in a marvelous chromakey effect. It made the final product more like something one could find on MTV, much like Matthew Sweet's videos a few years ago.

I think the Damaged Rei-Mix wins.

Derek Lieu's Frozen vid and Caldwell's Engel are also excellent, as is Aron Gram's Slim Shinji.

Kevin Caldwell's Engel
and
Damaged Rei-Mix...

My favs for the list...
"Strength lies in action. Let the weak react to me..." - Kamahl, Pit Fighter from Magic: the Gathering
"That is a mistake many of my enemies make. They think before they act. I act before I think!" - Vortigern from Merlin ('98)
"I AM REBORN!" - Dark Schneider Bastard!! OAV

1) Linkin Park - In The End (Abaddon's cool version, not that half-assed piece of crap that TommyRude put out)

2) Madonna - Frozen

3) Tori Amos - Crucify

4) Butterfly - Crazy Town (made by me!)

5) This Isn't What We Meant

Opus was just too chaotic and nonsensical for my taste, and Numb just didn't work IMO. Engel was cool, but not serious enough to be one of my favorites. Anything involving Nine Inch Nails gets a definite "F" in my book.

Y'know, I'd be happy to put an opinion on Abaddon's version of "In The End", but none of the links are working.

Until then, I cannot fathom the small conflict that has come up here.

And until then, I still say that TommyRude has a damn nice AMV to watch.

Wa-hey.

I've downloaded and now have both versions of the hotly contested combo of "In The End" and Evangelion.

Opinions have been posted for both videos, and I find both of them to good AMVs on their own merits. All the squabbling that has come up as a result of their existence is petty!

My favorite is "Final Genesis" ::Keeps in the fact that he made this video  ::

=P......

I really liked Engel though...And the Madonna Frozen Rei video...But I made a video to kenshin using madonna frozen so that video doesn't seem all that great to me...If you want to check out my Kenhin Frozen video check it out through my profile....=P
