You're lucky... I've decided to let you live to see the day when I will rule the world.

Seriously considering it, even though I've been here for a long, long time. I'd like to define my attempts here as merely an effort to improve upon the design of the 'Org. I haven't done much but run my mouth here on the forums... I've decided this go-round that I'd like to actually make a contribution that others can see, feel, and experience, rather than spout endless rhetoric. I'm sorry you feel so negative about what I have to say, but it's there. I want to have a hand in building something up, rather than doing the obvious- driving my post count higher. HAHAHA....I was joking. I was somewhat hoping people would start hating for it. Unfortunately it did not work. I am terribly sad now.

Personally, I see it as this:
Most of the threads involved screaming fans of one series or another due to the title. This caused endless flame wars and quite a bit of stupidity. Now, there were a few intelligent posters in the ones I saw, but for the most part it turned to screaming fans fighting. This downward spiral to flames is delt with the same way all over the forums, by locking the thread. When many of these discussions turn this way, it becomes an easy alternative to lock them all. This attitude is best exemplified by the deletion of the OT forum. That forum behaved in much the same way, and was locked. While I don't really agree or disagree with the motion provided in this thread, I can say that I too might lock all similar threads if I were administrator and noticed a similar downward trend.
Rather than this sudden course of action, I personally think we might post a warning announcement at the top of this forum (and perhaps all forums) that clearly states all VS. threads will be locked if no positive trend in thier content is observed. In fact, as I recall it the same option was given for the OT forums, however indirect it was until after the fact.

I don't think it's terrible at all, in fact I rather like your new turn as the orgs new "helper". But I really dislike all this talk of Megatokyo. I've been to a fair few forums much like the Megatokyo one and they all seem rather boring to me, I personally think a bit of spam (almost wrote sperm there :¬ P) is god for a little light humour.Nestorath69 wrote:Seriously considering it, even though I've been here for a long, long time. But, I fully support what you're trying to do for this community-as you've said before, we've never really seen eye-to-eye.
I'm bored and you're dumb. A match made in heaven.

fatman
Some people think its fun. It starts conversation and thought (if a bit weird).I'm going to lock them from now on. Really, what's the point in arguing over if Goku can beat Vash can beat Kenshin can beat Pikachu can beat your mailman if you drew him in an anime-style? The simple fact of the matter is that Batman always wins.
I personally think it is dumb as most just vote for whatever series they like better.
It depends on which batman you are talking about. I don't think 70s needs to work out more Batman is going too do much.
