I have to agree with the majority of the people here and say that NME shouldn't be banned because he is stating his opinion. If he thought that the contest was poorly run, he's entirely entitled to think so and tell a community that values the way their videos are played at numerous locations. Although he may have possibly gone overboard and jazzed up the numerous problems that it had, he still is entitled to make his opinion. There is no rule against that on this forum (as far as I know) so pretty much you have no case here.

I'm sorry if you were offended by what NME wrote, but his main goal was to inform people of how he saw other people's videos played. Instead of being offended by this, you should take this advice and put it to use next time you run the contest, as some people obviously saw flaws in it.

It's good to see NME get such nice support. Also, I can't blame the guy for overreacting, but it still remains that a banning is too harsh a punishment for speaking one's mind about a crappy show. If I got banned from the movie theater after shouting in the lobby about how hard Episode 1 and 2 of Star Wars were after seeing them, I'd get pretty confused and pissed off.

Mr Oni

Ummm ... hate to burst your bubble ... but i hope you ment wackable as a figure of speach.

ACarsen, rather then complaining about your injured pride, why not try sifting through what you conisedred a barage of insults and look for constructive criticism to make the contest run smoother in the futrue. If i were to react like that every time somone bashed/flamed/heavily criticised me i'd be a fucking whining bitch and every one would hate me even more then they already do.

The guy that stated this thread is a fucking idiot and needs to grow up.

Taking criticism is a nessisary social skill our countries institutes fully encourage. Now, when do they focus on this? I believe it's something like 2nd, so grow the fuck up already.

The eprson that started this thread isn't the only person that's making me sick. anyone who wrote several paragraphs debating the topic taking it seriously saying, "well... I don't think NME should be banned because..." all i have to say to you is WTF? It's obvious he shouldn't be banned for stating his opinion, it doens't need to be said.

All that needs to be said are some harsh words of reality to this guy, that if you do a shitty job, there are chances you'll get some negative criticism on it.

If this guy wants everyone banned who hurts his feelings, he's got a serious fucking problem after posting this thread.

NME is a valued member of this community. Though there are some people way too uptight for their own good that hate him, many people love NME. He's been around and he's staying.

No one needs to baby this guy or fuel his argument by taking him seriously. He just needs to realize he's acting like a fucking 5 year old and grow up, and eveyrone else eneds to ignore this and forget it happened.

why isn't this thread locked or deleted yet?

Don't flatter him. NME is the Tom Green of the AMV community.
