No it isn't

Static (the noun) is not static (adj)

;p
Static (the noun) is static (the noun).

hmm, then it's only winxp what makes this trouble (right grammar?)

I've found the codec pack by typing "nimo codec pack" in google.
only installing divx 3.11 shouldn't fix it on winxp because divx doesn't report about files that it couldn't overwrite. nimo does

yes, but the static in my signature is obviously the adj, and not the noun.

It may be obvious to you, as you are the one who wrote it; however, do remember that language is a fluid thing, and is prone to much reinterpretation. Anything can be interpreted in a way different than its author intended - and nobody can really meaningfully say that other peoples' interpretation has any less merit than the author's.

You prove yourself right in your post, as I did not mean that it would be obvious to you, but obvious to myself, who had writtin the signature. :D 8)
