Star Scale Hints Added

Hey,

After looking over the star scale votes, it seems that some people need hints as to what exactly the star scale values mean. Here's the breakdown of the count of all star scale votes from most frequent to least frequent:

5 - 345239
3 - 343238
4 - 312132
2 - 133024
1 - 87548

Here's the breakdown after the people who give the same scores all the time are ignored (these values are the ones that are actually used in star average calculations):

3 - 325958
5 - 303980
4 - 300979
2 - 132541
1 - 86799

That's better, but not quite there yet. The number that are above average (average should = 3) is still much more than the number below average.

It could be that people wait until a new above average video shows up on a list, download it, agree that it's above average, and give a score accordingly. But just to make sure, I've added some hints at the top and bottom of the "my downloads" page. The hints change around since, after all, they are just hints.

Wow, 1221181 video downloads total, at least that have been scored already.

Well, for me, I generally just don't download videos that look like they'd get a 1 or 2 (meaning, generic DBZ videos, etc.) Hence why I don't give out that many of those ratings. This is probably a fairly common practice.

Yea, I tend to download videos from "competent" creators and rarely from "new" creators. I feel so biased. Sorry!

I keep mine at 3.00 average. If I go over, then I search for bad videos to watch so it can bring my average back down. What I really hate is if I download a video that I expect to suck, but then it DOESN'T suck, so I have to go download at least 1 or 2 more sucky ones to cover it.

if only people said that about ops, i don't think anyone normal goes around saying 'i think it's time to do a bunch of ops cause i'm such a generous person'... but there's always someone, which is a good thing
