Is Adobe the only good AMV software out there?

Postby DenaSchezar » Sat Aug 31, 2002 1:51 pm

I created the best music video ever called "Frozen" on Adobe with a bunch of assorted animes and all I got was a 1.16 GB avi file and a broken heart because I couldn't convert it to a smaller file :(
Could someone please tell me some good programs to use? :D

That depends. Do you want to make a super high quality master for contest submissions, or a smaller version for internet distribution?

Job one for you is to read ErMaC's guide. Then you'll better understand your options.

For MPEG 1 or 2, use TMPEGEnc, for another format try Virtual Dub + XviD codec.

Last, Step off the "best vid ever" soapbox, you'll piss off a lot of people saying stuff like that. It's only the best ever to you.

There's several freeware/shareware editing software at www.webattack.com that might suite your needs.

I download from the site for other stuff like anti-virus and email spam control. Too bad there's no spam control software on this site, other then flamer's, although flamer's more or less just end up ingniting more spam.
