Help...I don't know where else to turn...

Some months ago, I did an update of my OS...and you guys helped me out alot and gave me great directions as what to do ... :)

However; now I have a problem that when I want to use my DVD drive to watch DVD's I get the error of the disc being copyright-protected and that it won't allow me to watch it because of my tv-port being on....but I don't have a video card much less a tv-port.... :?

I am using the on-board graphics so why is the software (Cyberlink Power DVD) telling me about a tv-out problem... :(

thx for any help... :(

Who made your motherboard?

You DO have a video card. You do not have a capture card. Video card = outputs video to monitor/tv, capture card = records video from analog source.

Most likely "TV-Output" is enabled in your Display properties.

he says hes useing his on board graphics. does your onboard card have svideo out. if so then do what klinky said (right click on your desktop go to properties then settings then advanced then displays and disable tv out).

well theres your problem, its a compaq.
but seriously i dont really know what the problem is besides that the tv out port is broken but it tells u that on its own. um did u update windows. also try reinstalling your dvd software and your video card drivers. also update your bios. if that dont work u could always reinstall windows.
sorry i cant really help u. if i were u and i had some cash id just buy a new comp.
