Oklahoma -----> Otakon

is there anyone from oklahoma, texas, or new mexico or kansas, or wherever near oklahoma that is going to Otakon?? i hope to be able to get a ride with someone from someone in the forum ...i want to go so badly since i cant go to animazement. ...or am i too late go get a hotel and/or a ticket for it?.... *takes a peek at my wallet* ...darn if i wont be able to go, im gonna have to wait for next year.

A lot of the hotels are selling out fast if not already sold out, but people are ALWAYS looking to share the cost of rooms. So that should be pretty easy to deal with.

Considering where you are comming from, it would take like 2 or 3 days to get to Otakon by driving. You do know it's in Baltimore, Maryland right?

Lastly, Otakon is a big con, and not really one I would recomend going to if you are low on funds. Between the travel, hotel, reg, food, and dealers room you'll end up spending a good bit. This is really the type of con you should plan for ahead of time.

Dangit, go to A-kon, it's right near you in Dallas, it's a fairly big con, and you can get the feel of conventions from it. Hopefully I'll be there (can only hope).

buahaha I pity you all! I get to go to Otakon with my anime club free ^^ and were staying at the sharidan or is it en...right across from it. Yep *sigh* life is wonderful. 8)

maybe i can join calims club and go to otakon for free ^_^" ehehehe.

Lol move to maryland and enroll in credit courses at a community college and join the anime club and sure ^^.
