problem with dvd

Postby ebony412 » Sun Mar 14, 2004 2:41 pm

New here and I want to try to create some amv's, haven't done so before. But now there's a problem that I'm having with my dvd drive. Everything loads fine, the sound is perfect, but there's no video to see just a pure pitch black screen. I don't know how to fix this. The last time I messed with it which was about 6 months previously it had the same problem. I'm not sure if it's the programs I'm using that are screwy or just the dvd drive. Anyways here's a list of the programs I've tried using to run it.

InterActualPlayer
InterVideo WinDVD

Any ideas on how to fix this I would love to hear. Thanks

can you play other files in your windvd player?
If you can play other stuff (like AMV's) then it's your dvd.

This is out in left field, but check your video card.
