VCA Voting Update

Hey All,

The voting for this year's Viewer Choice Awards is drawing to a close. Having taken a sneak peek into the running results, there are some interesting findings. Some categories seem to be one-horse races, but there are several that are quite close:

* The top two in Best Character Profile are separated by 4 votes
* The space between #1 and #3 in Best Comedy Video is 10 votes
* Best Dance top spot is razor-close with a 1 vote margin
* Top spot for Best Parody Video has a 6 vote margin

If you have not voted in these categories, it is greatly advised that you watch all vids in the category and vote! If there happens to be statistical ties in any category, we will have to do a run-off voting session.

Be happy you made it this far if you lose the final voting. I know I am. My video now has another 7 ops and 150 downloads because of this contest. I don't know if one of the physical prizes (except maybe the editing software) can beat the exposure that came with this contest.

That's exactly how I feel. Being considered even "one of the best" for the entire year is quite an honor. Especially with so many great videos listed with you.

You're also 100% right on the "exposure" part. I think that in itself is reward enough. I've gotten like 14 opinions on my three videos and God knows how many downloads.

You didn't have a specific video up there - I think that only works for the people with one specific video to download. ^.~

Could be worse - I haven't seen any sudden increase in hits, let alone downloads. ;p

you haven't? I have, that only means people knew about you before the VCA's started.
