damn nandub!

Postby Akashio » Mon Aug 26, 2002 2:58 pm

OK...Until now Nandub was working just fine and I loved it! But when I load the vid, apply the fllters, and go to FIle --> Two passes... it builds that .stats file just fine, but then when it gets to writing the avi, it aborts the dub after 1/2 a second! leaving me with a 12.0kb file that won't even play! Please help me b4 I hang myself!

Use Virtualdub. I've never tried NDub, but I like VDub, and it makes good XViD/DivX encodes.

The blind leading the blind.

Nandub is used for making variable bitrate Divx 3.11a files.

Virtualdub is used for making Divx3.11a constant bitrate, Divx4 and 5 variable bitrate and Xvid variable bitrate.

As for the reason for the crash, it could be just about anything. Try doing it without audio and mux the audio afterwards.
