I know, you're thinking "Dude that's not until SUMMER!" Well almost every hotel is BOOKED already. Wondering if anyone here is one of the lucky occupents like me :D. So who's heading there this year?

Depends on whether my dad will be nice enough to take us all there again. I know it sounds pathetic, but as a poor college student with no current source of income, I can't afford it otherwise.

They were saying that all hotels were booked last year before I even registered, and our group still got a room, don't worry, openeing will happen.
"I've spent the last ten years of my life defending my country, I've sacrificed for it, fought for it, and bled for it, now it's time I got something back, so please just respect me and my fellow Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines as we continue to do this job."

Ill be there and i will be getting the room soon. Hopfuly in the next week or so. And i wouldn't worry about it being booked last year i waited untill last min and got a great room. So im not worried this year. Then again ill just have my grandfather get me a room. Its good to have a family member who works for a traveling business. He can almost always get a room when ever he needs it.

It's been the biggest con on the East Coast for a while now, but it wasn't the biggest in the whole country until 2003. Before that, Anime Expo had held the spot for a few years.

I'm going

Postby anikiki » Mon Jan 26, 2004 2:24 pm

I'll be there in cosplay form. Fortunately for me, I don't need a room since I live in Baltimore. I wish I could do something else for Otakon. Well it's only several months away, so I'll think of something.

I'm 99% sure I'll be there with something submitted into the AMV contest. If all goes well, I should be there as Miki from Revolutionary Girl Utena, so look for me ^_~
