thats a male to female converter.....Svideo Male to Composite Female....

you would have to have the right kind of cabling on the other end.... but directly to a device.... i dunno....might need a coupler

sorry i should have said what that cable is from. its the output cable used for the ati all in wonder 7500. the one end gose in the card the other end has svideo out rca out and audio out. im just wondering if i can plug a svideo male to male cable into this and into my 9600 then plug a male to male rca cable into this and into my tv. i dont feel like moveing my comp to the liveing room to check if it works thats why im asking if its even posble that it might work

i tell you from personal experience....when you jump from device to device to device.... expecially witha computer... you are gonn have to do some mad setup to get it to work if the setting will allow you to do it. You cant ry but i would doubt it going from Computer --->Computer----> tv

and then from there sending a signal all the way back to your first computer..... but then again...ya never know....it depends on how lazy ya are to try it I guess

well i dicided to take a risk and cut open the svideo cable and the rca cable and just connect the wiers. it took me a while to dicide if i should plug it in or not coz i was afraid i would short circut it but i ended up trying and it all works grate. now i just need to do the same with this audio cable i pulled out of a broken pair of head phones(connect it to the red and white rca cables) so i can get audio out aswell and ill be set. ah the magic of a stake knife some duck tape and 20min.
