NDW and all of you he's speaking of NO VIDEO WHATSOEVER.

So it's not a driver issue, he should have basic VGA text atleast, but he doesn't even get that. He gets nothing...

I had a problem like this with my Geforce2, worked on my Abit KT7 motherboard, but not on my Asus A7A motherboard. Took out my bro's Geforce2 in his card, put it in my computer, worked fine. Put my old one in his, worked fine. So it's kinda odd. They were both cheap cards, so maybe they were flakey or something. I dunno it's odd.

So, well glad you got it fixed, but that sucks that DeusEx2 sucks so much... :| Try Call of Duty...

I was simply going by the ATI 9600 manual I got with my XT model.

Each non-Intel chipset requires the installation of a custom Virtual GART (AGP) Driver. This driver is required by your new ATI card to function correctly with your motherboard. It is very important that the correct AGP driver be installed before installing an AGP video card in your system.

I can only imagine they say to do this before installation because you won't get even simple VGA. If the basic VGA would work then you should be able to install these drivers afterwards.

The same manual wrote:An incorrect or missing GART driver can result in AGP memory not being detected or a black screen after Windows loads.
