Solution?

Postby KittyNeko » Tue Dec 30, 2003 5:02 pm

I'm just down south in England and also 16. Having a Visa Electron card I know its hard to buy stuff off the internet. But I shop at Store4.com (Not sure if this has been mentioned) So far I've purchased about five region 1 dvd's from there and they're pretty cheap. Also you can get your paws on a wide variety of Animé dvd's for about £14.00! All postage and shipping fees are free too ^_^ Hope this helps xXx

Sorry about not getting a credit card...(kinda misread that sorry) Can't you ask parents to use their cards and give the money back? Thats what I normally do...

No way, another scottish person :P . I usually buy from HMV, MVC or Play.com. The cheapest outta the three would be Play.com coming in at roughly £15 a dvd plus free p&p .

I've never seen anime in HMV. By the way, how many Scottish/British members does this site have?

AbsoluteDestiny, )v(ajin Koji, Feria, Hikari88, Xanthrax and several others who I forget, and myself, are all residents of the UK.

And not only does MNV stock anime, but as far as the Reading one is concerned, often also imported anime soundtracks as one of the guys that works there I know to be a fan, and he knows enough to manage a very healthy anime section.

They usually put them either with the World Cinema/Martial Arts section, or near the 'normal' animation.

Yes you can get Anime fro HMV but in my local one it gets moved all over the store all the time so watch out! ;¬)

also some good websites are:

www.play.com
www.cd-wow.com
www.dc-dvd.com (expensive)
