Postby shinji13 » Tue Dec 23, 2003 8:39 pm

Hey, well i have like two of them the first one is "does anyone know were you can buy black dvd drives dvd rewritable drives cd drives andcd rewritable drives well basically drives?".

the second one is "where is the best cpu and motherboard how much does it cost and what are the stats of it"

well i got a third one to.. :? well just wondering whats the cheapest and most reliable (cause i dont wanna be ripped off)?"

anyway answering any of these questions would help...

Thanks for your time hope you can help...

This might be better placed in the Video Hardware section.

I know there's already a thread there about "Best CPU?" that's 10 pages long.

I've seen black faced drives at both PC Club and Computer Geeks. I order and shop from both stores and have been very satisfed so far.

For best CPU/motherboard, I've found the tests on Tom's Hardware are a good place to start. They also have a price comparison engine off the site so searching through them should get you the lowest prices.

Black faced drives? Get a beige drive, and paint the cover/drive tray plate.

i mean 200ghz, as in 200 000mhz, or 200 000 000 hz or "OH MY FUCKING GOD, 200GHZ ?!?!?!?!?!?" . then again, you'll have a bit of troule geting it of ibm, or anyone els that manages to make something that powerful

At the following page on the left side you'll see a search option for color of a drive (as well as type, make, etc.):
