I'll vote for it.

'Fo real.

It somehow deserves everything.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Only 4 points? My faith in the community drops way more than that every time that Tricky seems to garner any sort of applause when it's shown. =P

The VCA has proven twice to be a popularity contest rather and thusly a farce.

I intend to win this farce's trailer catagory.

If the words "Viewer's choice" didn't already IMPLY popularity contest, then I don't know what this silly language means anymore...
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Hey,

Name any contest/election where the general public is allowed to vote which is NOT a popularity contest. Anything? Convention AMV contests? The election of the President of the United States? Not likely.

Anything that the majority of the public likes is by DEFINITION popular. Whining like that is like complaining that cars are a mode of transportation. Since the VCA is open to the public for voting, the VCA is by definition a popularity contest and so is any other AMV contest that the public can vote on in some way.

The VCA is a way for everyone to give recognition to the videos that they believe have been the best this past year. Some, if not most, consider it an honor to be held in high regard by a great number of people and to have created something that is enjoyed by many. This is the point of the VCA.

BTW, there will again be a "VCA Shameless Promotions" forum this year just as there was last year. The forum will be available 1/1/2004.

Good luck and have fun!! ^_^

Phade.

Hey, I don't know why some people are complaining, I'd be suprised to just get a single nomination, much less an award. And my ego tells me that my video is better than at least one of the videos people always mention, but my head tells me to shut up. :(
Look at me! Look at me! I posted in WOT so I must be evil!!! [/sarcasm]

Look at my new video!

Well some people hate it when they dont win :\ so they blame it on the goverment, popularity or anything else to go around their either, lack of promition, or editing skill...

I admit my videos suck, I'd be surprised to get ONE nomination much less two :\ and no...

The goverment didnt hack my computer and make my videos suck.

P.s: I dont know what izuna is complaining about anyway, shes bound to get like a million nod's for her video.
