Looking for a good capture card that has good PCTV!!!

Post by Edo » Sat Aug 24, 2002 1:14 pm

My computer is top of the line so no worry about that.

I noticed that with external TV boxes that plug into the back of my monitor the quality is perfect!!! Although its not a capture card, it's just a bunch of hookups.

Here's one I use to have:

Now since you saw that, I'm looking for a internal one plus the tv capture, I wanna make movies and watch tv and play my PS2 on my computer without crappy quality. The card I have now is a ATI TV Wonder the caputer is good and the tuning is good, and plenty of hookup jacks, but the full-screen mode is horrible!!!

Please Help me!!!

Sweet. I just got an ATI TV Wonder Value Edition a couple of days ago and I have been trying all the features. I just downloaded Dscaler and it is awesome with the ATI TV Wonder VE. The video quality for cable with Dscaler is a lot better than with the provided ATI Multimedia Center. Thanks for the link.
