Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Postby AbsoluteDestiny » Sat Oct 11, 2003 6:26 pm

Hi All!

Hope the two weeks since the premiere of this extravaganza hasn't felt too long :)

The comedy/parody video Hsien Lee (kusoyaro) and I did for our panel at AWA 9 is now on the donut for your downloading, viewing and salivating pleasure.

Marvel! at the drawing talent of Big Big Truck!
Swoon! at the voice acting talent of your fellow amv creators!
Cry! At the ghey yaoi chemistry between Kusoyaro and Akimbo!
Squeal! as the true secret of Kevin Caldwell's disappearance is revealed!

(only at participating computers, actual reactions may vary with any and all negative reactions being the sole responsibility of Akimbo)

you know, even if you cant play divx smoothly you can still get the codec, download the video, put it into tmpg and make it into an mpeg-1 so you can watch it ^_^;;

I've got the codec... but I hadn't thought about that. :? Guess I shall give it a shot. Eventually. I'm very lazy, you see.

I played it in WMP and hit one hiccup, at the part where Doc Brown's up on the clock tower... the video stopped but the audio kept going, then it told me "WMP has encountered a problem and needs to close." So I had to skip that second or two.

But wow, guys, that was hilarious, and I've never even BEEN to any AWAs. I especially liked the use of the Kare Kano BGM...

Odd, it works fine on the copy I downloaded from the org. *shrugs*
