Black Preview Screen with Premiere 6.0 and Windows XP

I don't know what the problem is, but after I installed XP and tried Premiere, the video screen stays black when I try to preview it. The audio still plays properly.

hmm...darn XP's getting everyone pissed off these days...

here are a couple things that may be the prob (sory for the long list but that's what u get for not being specific):
1. your video drivers are not that compatible with XP. try to look for an XP patch or something from the company.
2. when you reinstalled, your settings went back to the defaults. change them.
3. (not sure about this one cause i dont have XP) Premiere was not deisnged for XP use cause it didnt come out yet at the time. try waiting for more patches as they work out all the 3rd party bugs.

I think the 6.02 update WAS designed for Premiere to work in XP, to update compatibility. But anyways, Premiere 6.5 should be compatible with Windows, but it may not be.
