DVD Image (frame) capturing

Post by Bushido Philosopher » Mon Jul 01, 2002 11:01 pm

Is there any tool out there that anyone recommends for single frame capturing?

I would like it to have frame by frame seek of course and little bit of save variety (jpg, bmp, gif, etc etc) but that's only a preference.

yeah if you only want one frame, PowerDVD will allow you to take a screenshot while you watch... really any screanshot app like Hypersnap or Irfenview will take a screenie... if you need a clip try filtering the DVD player through a capture card than capture when you get to the part... not the best for latest anime, but some animations like Robotech ane (I'd imagine) Transformers are made for the 3:2 TV, not 16:9 film or 1:1 monitor. Note I've not done this... but ;-p it should work, I was watching Robotech last night and it hit me...
