*think think think* I don't buy CDs that often, after too many years of buying whatever the heck caught my eye - so no. ^_~ But it has raised my awareness of some music, helped me re-discover genres and bands I'd half-forgotten, and introduced me to some new things. So...not yet, but it's getting there. :)

HA HA! You think Rammstein is cool in a music video or CD....
You gotta SEE them LIVE man... When Till lights himself on fire!!! and uses the flame thrower and the guitar explodes and stuff!!!! what a show and it was only like uhhh $20!!!!

Lots of videos have made me WANT to purchase the disc, but I've never really done so. Most of the videos I view are to songs I know. Uncle Milo's - Outsider video makes me wanna buy the Chumbawumba(sp) CD.

Hahaha or when he breaks out the fake dildo and squirts fake cum all over the keyboardist ass............................I feel as if I've gone too far, even though they actually did that at one of their shows.

But to stay on topic, some videos have hooked me on particular songs and henceforth that band.

I bought the Bjork Homogenic because of the kusoyaro Bachelorette video. I also recently bought(yesterday in face) the Trippin on Utena video by Jesmaster featuring the Stone Temple Piolet's Trippin on a hole in a paper heart. Yep Yep :P

OV - Evangelion - Uninspired
OV - Kite - 16 Stone Pig

Strangely enough, the only two videos that have encouraged me to go and buy an Artist's CD were both made by Otaku Vengeance. Now I'm really glad that I checked these vids out, as 8Stops7 and One Minute Silence are a few of my favorite bands. :D

I don't really buy CDs that much anymore, because I've gotten burned one time too many finding out that the band only has one good song.

However, I did buy The Colour and the Shape by Foo Fighters after watching a vid with Everlong, looking up more Foo Fighter songs, and discovering that some of my favorite songs turned out to be by them.

Colour and Shape is an awesome CD, for those that don't have it.

As for buying a series after seeing some AMVs with it... Guilty. After seeing some good Lain vids and downloading some digi-subs, I bought the entire series practically on a whim. Glad as hell I did too.

Maybe respect for the artists? Maybe the better quality or the "officialness" of it all...
